🎉 Congratulations to our student Mikkie for being shortlisted in the 2026 Young Paddos Youth Landscape Art Prize!

This year, only 24 artworks were selected from across Australia, making it an incredibly competitive competition. Being chosen from so many outstanding entries is a wonderful recognition of Mikkie’s artistic ability, dedication, and hard work. Congratulations! 👏

At the same time, competition results are never determined by skill alone—there is always an element of luck. Many of our other students also created exceptional artworks with unique strengths, and not being selected does not diminish the quality of their work.

For us, the true value of entering competitions has never been just about winning awards. It’s about giving your very best during the creative process, discovering what you’re capable of, understanding your current level, and identifying where you can continue to grow as an artist.

Every artwork is a step forward. Every competition is a valuable learning experience. Keep creating, keep exploring, and keep believing in yourself—the best is yet to come. 🎨✨
