Digital art represents a key direction in the future of artistic development. Various software tools offer us convenient features, significantly reducing the time spent on creation. This course is designed for children aged eight and above, providing them with an introduction to digital painting. We will primarily use Procreate, and students are required to bring their own iPads and digital styluses. Below is an outline of some of the course content.

数字艺术是今后艺术的一个重要发展方向，很多软件给我们在艺术创作时提供了很多便利的工具节省了我们大量时间。这个课程是为八岁以上的孩子设计，让他们对数字绘画有初步了解，我们用到的主要软件是procreat, 上这个课程的学生需要自己带iPad和数字绘画笔，部分课程内容如下。

In this lesson, students will learn how to sketch the face, starting from the basic proportions and structure — such as how to position the eyes, nose, mouth, and ears accurately. Then, they will move on to how to apply flat colours, learning how to choose a harmonious colour palette and fill in the base tones smoothly. After that, we’ll focus on how to shade the face, understanding light and shadow to create realistic depth and dimension, especially around the cheeks, nose, and chin. Finally, students will explore how to shade the hair, learning different techniques to show texture, direction, and highlights so that the hair looks natural and lively.
